“You don’t get to hide structure in a Tiffany store - every line, every curve is exposed. Our job was to deliver a frame that could carry the complexity of the design without compromising the finish. And in a space like Heathrow, there’s no room for error.”

What the brief was — and what we delivered.
MJC delivered the structural design for Tiffany & Co.'s Heathrow Terminal 2 store, a premium retail environment within a curved airside footprint.
Design challenge
The store needed to express Tiffany & Co.'s luxury identity while fitting within a constrained oval retail unit. Curved glazing, bespoke finishes and integrated lighting demanded precise structural coordination.
MJC's scope
- Design and detailing of the bespoke steel frame.
- Coordination with glazing and curved facade elements.
- Ongoing consultancy during construction.
- Compliance support for airport and building-control requirements.
Outcome
The completed store is a distinctive retail presence in Terminal 2, with the structure supporting complex exposed detailing in a live airport environment.
The work, on site.
