Office moves and growth
JMS Engineers and GC Robertson have moved into the new Brightwell Head Office, bringing teams together in a space designed for collaboration and shared expertise. The Norwich office has also moved to Crown Road as its local portfolio continues to grow.
The London team has returned to 4 Bedlam Mews, creating a stronger base for capital projects and housing the new Abacus Contractors Design Services initiative.
Project and team milestones
GC Robertson has continued to deliver major work across East Anglia, including the new Main Stand at Needham Market FC's Bloomfields ground. John remains a key part of the business, supporting clients and mentoring teams with decades of practical engineering experience.
MJ Consulting Engineers has welcomed Wes and Francisco to the Manchester office, strengthening support for residential, commercial, events and aviation projects.
Sustainability and future skills
JMS Engineers and GC Robertson have launched the Reuse Engineering Forum East Anglia, a sustainability initiative focused on material reuse and lower-carbon design. Three apprentices - Alex, James and Joseph H - have also begun Civil Engineering degrees at Anglia Ruskin University while continuing to gain project experience.
Looking ahead
As winter approaches, the focus remains on collaboration, regional growth and practical engineering. Upcoming priorities include a new Site Appraisal service, further recruitment and continued delivery across residential, commercial, infrastructure, facade and airport retail work.
